The latest updates and spoilers for "Justice League" will feature Superman's black suit in the film's new toy line and Ray Fisher shares more details about Cyborg in the DC Extended Universe.
New Superman toy figure
It seems that Superman will sport a new outfit in the "Justice League" movie as unknown Reddit user posted a photo of the film's tie-in toy merchandise which featured the Man of Steel's black Kryptonian costume. Kal-El's black suit was first seen in "The Death of Superman" arc after the latter was resurrected from his healing coma. Many comic book fans have speculated that his return in the DCEU will be similar to the comics along with a long mullet and a bearded look.
While the Man of Steel has not yet featured in the "Justice League" trailers, his appearance is first teased in the SDCC 2017 trailer as Alfred Pennyworth is talking to someone and hopes that person will make it in time to help the League fight off Steppenwolf and his army.
Many of the film's promotional and marketing materials featured Superman wearing his classic red and blue outfit with a brighter color scheme signifying a more "hopeful" Man of Steel in the DCEU films.
Aside from Kal-El's return, Green Lantern is also teased to appear in the movie as the Imagine Dragons subreddit page posted the soundtrack list of the film on the IMDB page. One of its song titled "Unite the Seven" is a clear indication that the Emerald Knight will be the seventh member of the team.
Cyborg in the DCEU
Ray Fisher shared more details about Cyborg in the DCEU during this year's AsiaPop Comic-Con event and stated that his take on Victor Stone will be different from the comics and "Teen Titans" animated series.
"He's a very real and grounded character and that's something I found very interesting to bring to the table, " Fisher said." I love the cartoon, but this is a different Cyborg, for a new era."
Based on Fisher's comments, it seems that viewers will see a more "humanized" portrayal of the hero, someone who can they relate to in the real world.
Cyborg became a very popular character in all of the media thanks to the "Teen Titans" TV series. He also became a founding member of the Justice League in the "New 52" era replacing Martian Manhunter. He will also star in his own comic book series and solo film.
Cast member Joe Morton, who plays Cyborg's father Dr. Silas Stone, stated the film will explore Victor's resentment towards him for his creation and director Zack Snyder claim that Vic's story is the "heart" of the movie.
"Justice League" will premiere on Nov. 17.
