On Tuesday, the couple Josh and Anna Duggar confirmed the news on their website that they officially welcomed the fifth addition to the family. Their newest son is named Mason Garrett Duggar, and he joins his siblings Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, and Meredith to their growing brood.
On their official announcement, the couple wrote a caption, "Mason Garrett Duggar has arrived!!! 9 lbs 1 oz, 22" long, born 9/12/17." The couple was very happy and thankful of his arrival. It was also revealed that both Anna and her son were safe and doing well. Josh was also thankful that his son arrived with no complications.
Beautiful blessing
According to E! News, both Josh and Anna felt overjoyed with this another beautiful blessing that they received in their family. Mason Garrett arrived just two months after Jill Duggar gave birth to her newborn son, Samuel Scott.
As he confirmed the news, Josh also expressed his gratitude for all the prayers and support to his family. He added that he felt thankful for all the kind words and well wishes which were sent to his wife and his newborn son. Further, he added that he appreciated all the messages that were sent to them and he prayed that God will also bless them abundantly with their kindness.
Amid the cheating controversies, Josh previously revealed that they had worked hard to save their marriage.
Back in March, the couple officially announced Anna's pregnancy to their fifth child.

Rebuilding lives
Josh also revealed that it was nearly two years since they decided to work on their marriage. The "TLC" star shared that he and his wife agreed to focus their time of their children and to rebuild their lives as a family.
On the other hand, Anna wrote a message on their website and she added that rebuilding lives is simply done one step at a time. On their previous statement, the couple also concluded that they will continue their journey as a family together with their children.
According to AOL, the couple had acknowledged the previous controversies like infidelity and pornography which they once faced.
Both were also happy as they overcome these challenges one step at a time.
To recall, Josh' sisters recently filed a lawsuit following a publicly-released document pertaining to being molested by Josh. The actor also asked to join the private lawsuit but his sisters asked the court judge to deny his request. Amid the issues and controversies he faced, Josh and Anna felt very happy with the newest blessing to their family.
