Spoiler alerts indicate that Greg Rikkart is about to wrap up his recent stint on "The Young and the Restless." For two weeks, "Y&R" viewers have benefited from Kevin Fisher's return to Genoa City in order to help Victor Newman. Kevin has made the rounds talking to friends and loved ones including Michael, Cane, Mariah, and Devon. No one except Mr. Newman has any idea that Chloe is still alive and living under an assumed name in Portland. They believe Kevin is a struggling single father who just stopped by to say hello. Now that his brief stint is over, fans are voicing their desire to see him return once again to a contract role.
Kevin is a beloved character
Kevin Fisher has grown on the fans during his 14 years in Genoa City, and they were shocked when it was announced that his contract would not be renewed. Viewers were even more surprised when just a few months after his summer exit, Greg Rikaart returned to "The Young and the Restless." He was summoned by Victor who wanted him to retrieve the millions of dollars Nick won from his father in the lawsuit.
Spoiler alerts indicate that fans on social media are excited to have such a beloved character back on screen. Whether or not the powers that be will heed the voices of the viewers remains to be seen. What is known is that those who watch "The Young and the Restless" desire to see Kevin Fisher back in Genoa City, for the long haul.
Adam Newman could solve the problem of Kevin returning to Genoa City
Spoilers have been saying for a while that Michael Muhney will reprise his role as Adam Newman. If this turns out to be true, then Kevin's wife is not a murderer. The Fisher family could then return to Genoa City without any problems. So far there has been no return date set for Muhney, so Chloe is still considered his killer.
There are loose ends that have not been tied up with "The Young and the Restless," and until they are, viewers will not have closure on a number of issues.
It was great to see Kevin interacting with his loved ones but it would have been better to have Esther and Bella on hand. Victor's plan to reclaim his money from Nick is supposed to go off without a hitch, and Kevin will return to Portland with no one in Genoa City the wiser.
Spoiler alerts have not given details of how this will all work out, but should Adam Newman turn up alive, Greg Rikaart may be back again on "The Young and the Restless." Stay tuned weekday afternoons to find out what happens next.
