Spoiler alerts for "The Young and the Restless," say that the return of Greg Rikaart is near. Kevin Fisher fans can rejoice because he will soon be back in Genoa City. The storyline related to why he is coming back, however, has yet to be revealed.

Kevin's return could change lives

Greg Rikaart fans were angry when he was released from his contract this summer. Now only a few months later he is slated to come back. It has not yet been said how long he will be on "The Young and the Restless" this time around. However long he will be on hand, his presence will definitely change lives in Genoa City.

This is especially true of the Newman family.

Victor allowed Kevin and his wife to leave Genoa City, even though he found out that Chloe had murdered his son Adam. It was later revealed that the original Adam Newman, Michael Muhney is returning to "The Young and the Restless," which means Chloe is not a murderer. Perhaps Kevin has some news for VIctor regarding his namesake, and Chloe's name can be cleared. He may be returning however for some totally different reason.

Greg Rikaart is a valuable asset on The Young and the Restless

During his tenure on "The Young and the Restless" the fans saw Greg Rikaart character Kevin Fisher grow from a boy to a man. Greg is a valuable asset on the landscape of Genoa City and will be welcomed back with open arms.

One of the things that made Kevin so special was the relationship that developed with Paul Williams. There was a bond between the two men that was at times like a father and son and on other occasions more like a bromance.

In addition to not knowing how long Kevin Fisher will stay in Genoa City, there has been no word on which characters he will interact with.

It would be great if he and Paul could have some time together, but Victor Newman will probably be the first order of business. Victor agreed not to retaliate against Chloe if Kevin promised he never had to see her again. Mr. Fisher is returning alone but will probably have to first clear things with the Newman patriarch.

There is no way Kevin can sneak back into town without VIctor finding out.

Since his return coincides with that of Adam, the two are probably related, and Victor will be glad to see Mr. Fisher this time around, Stay tuned for more spoilers alerts and keep watching "The Young and the Restless" weekday afternoons at 12:30 p.m. on CBS. Fans of Rikkart/Kevin should continue believing he will be back for good.
