“Game of Thrones” wrapped up its seventh season with a hint at what’s to come in Season 8. We saw Daenerys and Jon Snow make love and Jaime left Cersei likely for Winterfell. These two important scenes could be a foreshadowing of Daenerys and Cersei’s fate in the last season.
Cersei miscarriages in 'Game of Thrones' Season 8
In Season 7, we learned that Cersei Lannister is pregnant with her brother Jaime’s child. However, an old prophecy predicted that she might not see the child alive. Viewers may remember that in Season 5, Cersei learned about her fate from Maggy the Frog.
The old woman told a young Cersei about her future. She revealed that Cersei would be queen and that she would have three children. These prophecies came true. Cersei married Robert Baratheon and became queen of The Seven Kingdoms. She also gave birth to three children, all born out of incest. She had three children with her twin brother Jaime—Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella. It is likely that her fourth child will not be born. According to old spoilers, Cersei will lose her unborn child in “Game of Thrones” Season 8. Due to stress and with Jaime not by her side she miscarriages. If this happens then Maggy the Frog’s prophecy that she will only have three children will be fulfilled.
Daenerys will die
According to Digital Spy, Daenerys will die in Season 8 at the hands of Jon Snow. It is believed that Jon or Aegon Targaryen is the Prince who was Promised, who is to fulfill the Azor Ahai prophecy. This prophecy calls for the hero to kill a loved one to save humanity. Where Season 7 ended, it seems that Jon has found his true love in the Mother Of Dragons.
Daenerys will die when Jon plunges a sword into her heart.
Likewise, Daenerys’ death was somehow hinted in a scene from Season 6 episode 5. The High Red Priestess from Volantis told Tyrion and Varys about the true purpose of the Mother of Dragons. She said that Daenerys was “reborn to remake the world” (see video below). It is likely that the survival of Westeros lies in her life - one life for the survival of many.
Daenerys has to die to save people from the death that the White Walkers bring. Her destiny is not as the ruler of Westeros but its savior.
Daenerys will die in childbirth
Despite her belief that she will no longer bear children, it is likely that Daenerys becomes pregnant with Jon Snow’s child in “Game of Thrones” Season 8. However, there are speculations that she could die in childbirth.
