Lil Wayne has his place in the hip hop industry and is recognized worldwide. The rapper has been struggling with epilepsy for a while now. He canceled his Sunday night concert in Las Vegas after suffering multiple seizures in Chicago the same day. His daughter, Reginae Carter confirmed on Twitter that the star was doing fine.

According to rolling stone, Drai’s nightclub revealed that they had canceled his scheduled performance at the nightclub due to unforeseen circumstances and said T.I. would perform at his place. They stated that the well-being of their artists mattered to them and wished Lil Wayne a quick recovery.

Wayne had been found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he suffered another minor seizure. On Monday,18-year-old Reginae assured fans that her father was okay and appreciated the concern. She also warned the fans from believing everything they hear.

Wayne revealed that he had epilepsy in 2013

According to USA Today, the 34-year-old Lil Wayne, also known as Dwayne Carter Jr, made it public in 2013 that he had epilepsy and said he had a bunch of seizures that the world didn’t hear about. At the time he was saying this, it had become worse because he had already suffered three consecutive seizures. His heart rate had lowered to almost 30%, and he almost died in an Intensive care Unit in Los Angeles.

In 2012 the star suffered seizures while on board, and his private plane was required to make an emergency landing. The same thing happened in June 2016, and his private jet had to make an emergency landing in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was ok while in Florida

According to People Music, before the incident, Lil Wayne appeared to be in good health in his Jannus Live performance that went down in Florida.

Fans told the magazine that he was jumping around the stage, and was so on point. He had high energy, appeared to drink a lot of water all night on stage and spoke clearly. He had been late for the show, and his fans were mad at him after waiting for hours. He finally turned up at 11 p.m. a few hours late, smoking a joint with no opener and some DJs on stage.He was fine and smoked for the rest of the show.
