Brandi Redmond was heartbroken when she first joined "The Real Housewives of Dallas" season two, as she hadn't talked to her former best friend, Stephanie Hollman, in months. Brandi had been upset about something that Stephanie had said in her blog for the show, including comments about Redmond's marriage. It is no secret that Brandi and her husband had gone through a rough patch last year, but she had expected that her friend would be supportive of her rather than talk about her marriage in the press. When this current season of "The Real Housewives of Dallas" began, Redmond had no interest in making up with Stephanie, as she had been betrayed.
But after they talked things through, Brandi didn't think that making an effort with the new housewives was a priority.
According to a new report, Brandi Redmond is now revealing how she felt when Kameron Westcott confronted her after inviting Cary Deuber and Stephanie Hollman to Memphis with her. Of course, this trip was important to Brandi, as she would be seeing her grandfather. But it never occurred to her that Kameron would be upset about not getting an invite or a gift, considering they didn't really know one another. After watching the episode and seeing Westcott's reaction, Redmond is now sharing her opinion about the new housewife.
Invitation to Memphis
When Redmond invited the ladies to Memphis, she did so because she was excited that she and Stephanie were now friends again.
She never intended to shun Kameron, but she felt like everything was planned out.
"In the moment, I started to feel bad and was about to invite her but it went South real quick. I tried to make a joke out of it with the mean girl comment but that probably didn’t help. Needless to say, Kameron and I DO NOT have a lot in common, maybe it's because of our different zip codes…barf," Brandi Redmond writes in her Bravo blog about the new housewife, revealing that she doesn't like the way Westcott reacted after the invites were given.
No friendship here
As Brandi explains, she never intended to invite Westcott on the trip, because she didn't know her. Plus, she was so excited about her friendship with Stephanie that it wasn't a priority to make Westcott feel special. But Westcott took it personally, as Brandi presented pink gifts to her friends - Kameron's favorite color.
It was a slap in the face.
It sounds like there's no friendship for these two. Perhaps Kameron won't forgive Brandi for her behavior, while Redmond may not like how Westcott couldn't let her enjoy the moment.
