Brandi Redmond surprised viewers of "The Real Housewives of Dallas" when she revealed that she had become close friends with Leeanne Locken, after she decided to distance herself from Stephanie Hollman. Brandi had been hurt by things Stephanie was saying about her marriage to the press. She had expected Hollman to be her friend, but she told viewers that she was devastated when Stephanie gossiped about her marriage behind her back. As soon as the two made peace on "The Real Housewives of Dallas," Brandi invited Stephanie and Cary Deuber to Memphis with her.

When LeeAnne learned that she was not invited on the trip, she felt that she had been replaced.

On the show, Redmond revealed that she always kept Locken at a distance. Her daughters were afraid of LeeAnne, and they didn't want her in their home. Whenever she came over to pick her up, Redmond always met her outside. Fans felt that perhaps Brandi was claiming to be her friend, but keeping her at a distance. Despite fighting on social media, Redmond is now saying sweet things about Locken. According to a new tweet, Brandi Redmond is now revealing that she's actually very happy for LeeAnne that she got what she wanted. During last night's episode of "The Real Housewives of Dallas," Rich proposed to her.

Crazy LeeAnne

On the show, Brandi reveals that she loves LeeAnne and is thankful for her friendship. At the same time, she seems to keep her at a distance, perhaps because she doesn't want to get hurt. While she's tweeting about how happy she is for LeeAnne, she also revealed that she doesn't appreciate how she is being called a liar in the same episode.

Locken appears to be lashing out at Redmond.

One can imagine that Locken feels used, and fans of the show have no problem questioning Brandi's motives. Some believe that she may have used LeeAnne to stay on the show, as her marriage appeared to be a boring storyline for some viewers. But on Twitter, she decided to defend herself. As she explained on Twitter, Brandi Redmond reveals she used no one to stay relevant and that all of the housewives have storylines.

Of course, LeeAnne may have been one of the main housewives last season, but that's only because she was downright crazy. She would yell at her co-stars and she even threatened to kill one of her friends after she felt betrayed.

"The Real Housewives of Dallas" was known to be boring, but Locken took the drama way too far. As Redmond points out, her craziness didn't make the whole season. In fact, the ladies are learning to fight back, which adds to the show.

Friendships growing

It is possible that Locken feels threatened because Brandi Redmond's friendships with Cary Deuber and Stephanie Hollman are growing stronger. On Twitter, Brandi has fought with LeeAnne because Locken can't seem to let it go. She didn't feel like she was part of the in-crowd and she lost her friendship with Brandi after lashing out at Stephanie.

Perhaps some fans are right about Brandi using LeeAnne. As tonight's episode was airing, Redmond had changed her tune, tweeting that she was now proud of her friend.

While the two had previously been arguing on Twitter, Brandi is now speaking positively about LeeAnne. Some people would probably argue that Brandi is nice to LeeAnne when it pays off for her.

What do you think about Brandi Redmond saying congratulations to LeeAnne on Twitter, but then calling her a liar within minutes? Do you think she's using her co-star to create a storyline for this season?
