The highly anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War" arrives in May next year and with it comes the culmination of the last nine years of the MCU. It will feature heroes from across the universe, with both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy teaming up to fight the mighty big bad Thanos. But despite the main plot, the upcoming film is set to have subplots that feature supporting characters. Recently, Paul Bettany hinted at what's to come for his character, Vision, and Elizabeth Olsen's character, Scarlet Witch. It seems that there is a romantic storyline for the pair when the movie arrives next year.

Scarlet Witch and Vision will have an 'exciting plotline'

In next year's "Avengers: Infinity War," viewers will get to see the gang round up to fight Thanos. But Paul Bettany told Fansided that aside from their big fight, his character Vision will also have a storyline of his own. He explained, "For both [Elizabeth Olsen] and I, it’s the most exciting plotline of each of us so far." The 46-year old actor, who voices Jarvis in the "Iron Man" films, did not give any further hints about what kind of storyline his character, Vision and Scarlet Witch will have in the film. Screen Rant reported that the two may "hide their relationship" and "[risk] everything to be together" amidst the war against Thanos, who will be played by "Deadpool" actor Josh Brolin.

Josh Brolin is having 'the most fun' as Thanos

Josh Brolin, whose surprise casting as Cable in "Deadpool," is known to be taking the mantle of Thanos in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War." He recently opened up about playing the Mad Titan, telling Entertainment Weekly that "I love doing 'Avengers,' it’s maybe the most fun I’ve ever had." As the film is already nearing its completion for a May 2018 release, the actor has already seen some parts of it, footage that was most likely not included in the San Diego Comic Con preview last July.

Brolin explained, "The cutting-edge technology of what they’re doing—what I’ve seen is absolutely mind-blowing. When I saw it on screen, it was me, but also not like me. It’s really strange." Brolin also admitted that what fans saw was "not even close" to the footage that he had already seen.

The highly anticipated "Avengers: Infinity War" is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely ("The Chronicles of Narnia"). The film will come to theaters this May 4, 2018.
