"Deadpool 2" isn't arriving until next year, but already, production is gearing up for it to be another spectacle. One actor in particular is embodying his role and flexing his muscles for the upcoming Marvel film, and has taken to Instagram to share a snapshot of himself hard at work at the gym. That actor is none other than Josh Brolin, who was recently announced to play Cable alongside Ryan Reynold's Deadpool in the highly anticipated sequel due out in 2018.

In a recent Instagram snap, the 49-year old actor shows off his arms as he flexes muscles and shares diet secrets for his role as Cable.
He wrote that "Cable's coming, growing from the inside. Clean building from a past of donut travel to the present hard case that he is." The actor also shared that his diet has refrained him from consuming sugar, bread, and pasta, and tagged his trainer, Justin Lovato in the snapshot as well. Lovato shared a similar photo, writing that a YouTube video of the actor working out is coming soon, so fans can also watch out for that as well.

Actor to play two roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Josh Brolin's casting as Cable in the upcoming "Deadpool 2" came as a surprise to some, as he already has a somewhat major role in the MCU.
He's known as the mad titan Thanos, who has sporadically appeared in "The Avengers" and "Guardians of the Galaxy." In it, he's a purple alien sitting on a floating throne, scheming to collect all Infinity Stones and destroy the universe as we know it. He's expected to have a major part in "Avengers: Infinity War" and the yet-untitled fourth "Avengers" film.
When Brolin was first cast in the role, Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to comment on how he's playing two roles in the MCU. Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that as per Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, "We don't have anything written into our contracts about other roles that people can do. Indiana Jones and Han Solo are the same person...it hasn't been a problem.
And I think Thanos and Cable are two very different characters."
"Deadpool 2" is set to arrive sometime in 2018, and will be directed by "John Wick" director David Leitch, who takes the helm from the first film's Tim Miller. Brianna Hildebrand's Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapicic's Colossus, Karan Soni's taxi driver Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams' Blind Al are all set to return as well. In the meantime, fans can follow Josh Brolin on Instagram to keep track of his fitness routines as he becomes Cable on "Deadpool 2."
