Model and social media star, Christine Diane Teigen, has opened up about her drinking problem. Normally, it's not cool for celebs to discuss their alcohol consumption, but Teigen has consistently shown that she is not an average celebrity and that there's no talking-point excessively forbidden for her.

In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, the celebrity disclosed her excessive drinking habit, revealing that she doesn't own her behavior. It seems that the television host Teigen is confessing about her drinking routine, as she has always been open about her health issues, including her struggle with postpartum and anxiety. "I was, point blank, just drinking too much, " she told the magazine.

Teigen can't have just one drink

She often finds herself, passing the time with several glasses of wine, no matter, if she is on backstage, brunching or enjoying a night out. The "cookbook" author declares that the major problem is the ever-present supply of alcohol for celebs. "Imagine everything we have, " Teigen stated, "Everything is there, always." The 31-year-old model is not the type of person who stops after one drink, as the alcohol abuse runs in her family.

Chrissy decided to curtail alcohol

After realizing, that her drinking is getting out of control, she decided to curtail alcohol. Cosmopolitan reports that the social media star, Teigen and her husband, John Legend have been traveling with their 16-month-old daughter, Legend Simone, for more than usual this summer.

According to Cosmopolitan, the family visited a wellness retreat, in Bali, where Chrissy gave a reset to her body and made possible to decelerate her alcohol assumption. While on her stay, she completely abstained from drinking alcohol. The reason behind cutting back on alcohol is that she and Legend are planing to go through the process of IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) for their possible pregnancy in future.

That's when the social media hotshot had a serious confession about her alcohol consumption. Further, they had recently come back from Italy and would be planning to leave for another vacation soon. It seems Chrissy Teigen is fully determined to fix herself up for the second baby. She also posted on Instagram a photo of herself, wearing traditional Balinese garb.

Teigen's professional struggle

She was born in Delta, Utah. Her career started when she was represented by IMG (International Model Management) Models in New York. She has also served as a recurring guest host and contributor on E!. Legend's lady love appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and was titled as "Rookie of the Year." Moreover, she filmed a Cooking Channel special named "Cookies and Cocktail".

Her cookbook titled "Cravings" was also released and became a New York Times bestseller. Chrissy always feels happy to share her story with people, regarding her struggle against mental illness and alcohol consumption. She also describes how to fight with it, since so many people are affected by this horrible addiction and disorder.
