As “The 100” Season 5 is about to feature a six-year time jump, fans are about to see new changes in the life of their favorite heroes. As a lot of them will have a hard time adapting to the new environment they are in, Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) admitted that he has to make some adjustments to play his new role as the pacifist of the Ark’s remaining survivors.
In an interview with Hidden Remote, the 32-year-old star revealed that he has yet to decide what kind of acting approach he is going to take to play his character in the upcoming new installment.
Will fans see him differently in the television show’s fifth chapter?
Morley’s take on his character’s new role
Bob Morley admitted that he is used to playing a role as a warmonger than being a peacekeeper. After the Praimfaya, a lot of people left the ground to escape the second nuclear explosion. As Bellamy and his group hid in the Ark to wait for the perfect time to let everything return to normal, it looks like they are now ready to face the world again in “The 100” Season 5.
However, acting-wise, it seems like it is not that easy for them to depict the time jump. The Australian actor revealed that the television show’s actors only have six months to show character development. “I've got to figure out who he's become in these six years,” he admitted to Hidden Remote.
As the production is taking place now, he is still yet to decide how Bellamy grows and develops his new personality.
To recall, fans just saw Bellamy during war time. As there will be a six-year time jump, there will be no war and they are now surviving on the ship. “I don't know what he's like as a pacifist," he revealed.
New romances emerging
However, Bob Morley assured that Bellamy will take his new role as the group’s leader in “The 100” Season 5 seriously. In fact, he and Raven Reyes (Lindsey Morgan) will work in harmony to lead their followers back to their home.
There are even swirling rumors that the two might be involved in a new romance, Christian Post reported.
Aside from that, there are also rumors that Monty Green’s (Christopher Larkin) love life will be vibrant in the upcoming new installment.
Although he may still be disturbed about his feelings for Harper (Chelsey Reist), there might be a chance that he will fall for John Murphy (Richard Harmon).
A new prisoner named
Meanwhile, Ivana Milicevic will be joining “The 100” season 5 as one of the prisoners from the mysterious ship named Charmaine Diyoza.
According to Entertainment Weekly, her character is described as a “ruthless military strategist who will go head to head” against the show’s favorite characters. Her moves and actions will cause either unity or division. She is said to leave an “indelible legacy” in the show’s new world.
