“Once Upon a Time” Season 7 will soon return to the small screen and fans are about to witness its new story to tell. The fantasy drama had a major reboot and will now be led by new faces and some original characters.

Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore, and Emilie de Ravin won’t be seen in the continuation of the television series as their stories ended in the previous season. Now, it will be all about the new tale of the grown-up Henry (Andrew J. West) and his going to be love interest Cinderella (Dania Ramirez).

A new story to tell

“Henry’s love story with Cinderella is the show’s new ‘epic romance,’” executive producer Edward Kitsis said (via Cosmopolitan).

“Once Upon a Time” Season 7 will be exploring how these two characters met, fell in love, separated, and will be reunited in Seattle, a small and fictional town of Storybrooke. Henry will get a knock on his door from his child, Lucy (Allison Hernandez), who is asking for help to save some characters and her mother, Cinderella.

“Henry has found himself in a new book with new characters,” Kitsis added (via Variety). He will be needing the help of his going his friends – the returning characters Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue), Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle), and also his mother, the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla).

There will also be new evil characters. As Cinderella joins the group, her evil stepmother Lady Tremaine (Gabrielle Anwar) and wicked stepsister Drizella (Adelaide Kane) will also be seen. Executive producer Adam Horowitz further said that it will be a mix of characters, the old and the new, to tell new origin stories. So, they won’t be continuing the old mythology.

The new personas of Hook and Regina

As things are going to be different in “Once Upon a Time” Season 7, O’Donoghue revealed that Hook is ten times more different than he has played before.

He is now a uniformed cop in Seattle. But although he looks profound, it seems like he is looking for something that he, too, is not sure of.

“He’s striving in some way to find who he is,” the 36-year-old actor said (via Cosmopolitan). He is trying his best to be the best police officer that he can be and do everything rightfully.

Fans are also going to see a new Regina. In fact, she also has a new unrevealed name and a change of career. She is now a bar owner, wearing rugged shirts and jeans, which is way different from his evil queen character. “She’s no longer in charge,” she said.
