Lydia Mclaughlin decided to return to "Real Housewives of Orange County" this season after a few years of focusing on her family. When Lydia announced her return to the show, fans weren't exactly thrilled at the news. In her previous seasons, Lydia hadn't really engaged in any of the drama and her innocent personality didn't really fit into the drama that is "The Real Housewives" franchise.

But when Lydia called shannon beador a lost soul, people changed their minds. Lydia's outspoken personality was making up for the fact that she had previously not started any drama whatsoever. In addition to that, it sounds like Lydia is now being blamed for staging drama, even though she claims this is not the case.

Not creating drama on purpose

According to a new Bravo report, Lydia McLaughlin is now discussing the backlash she received after she invited Kelly Dodd to The Silent Lady restaurant where she would be dining with Shannon Beador and some of her friends. She had previously told kelly dodd that she would be having dinner with them, so Kelly decided to go because she wanted to push Shannon's buttons.

McLaughlin is now explaining that she never meant to cause any drama between the ladies and she reveals that she had no idea about the drama that was happening between them. She wants to clear her name when it comes to starting drama, as she claims she had absolutely no idea about any of the drama that happened between the ladies last year.

Clearly, Lydia did not watch the show last season and she may have thought twice about her invitation if she had done so. It didn't help Lydia that there was footage of her telling Kelly Dodd everything that she knew, which was something that Bravo aired to viewers during her denials.

"It was never my intention to cause drama and when Kelly walked in, I was just as surprised as everyone.

I am glad Tamra says she knows my heart and believes that I just didn't know all the history between everyone because that is the truth," Lydia explains in her Bravo blog.

Caught in a lie?

One can imagine that fans weren't exactly thrilled to watch Lydia McLaughlin possibly being caught in a lie and possibly staging drama for the sake of ratings. Lydia explains that she had no idea about what was going on and that she is innocent of all the claims and accusations that people are making about her. One has to wonder if Andy Cohen will bring it up at the reunion special.

What do you think about Lydia McLaughlin's claims that she is innocent all of the accusations that she is starting drama for the sake of ratings? Do you think she is truly innocent?
