Hollywood is helping people who have been hit by Hurricane Harvey. Many Celebrities have announced that they will be donating to those affected by the mass flooding in their time of need.

Sandra Bullock donates a whopping sum yet again

On Monday, 53-year-old Sandra Bullock donated $1 million to Red Cross for the victims in Texas. In a statement, the acclaimed actress said that she is "grateful" to be able to help those in need. She further added that "we have to take care of one another" and encouraged others to pledge some money as well. The Academy Award winner used to reside in Austin where she reportedly still owns a property.

Bullock is famous for her generosity, as she made some huge donations in the past for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the 2004 tsunami, and 9/11 attacks. She also donated $1 million to the French International Humanitarian Organisation, Doctors Without Borders -- which was working to provide relief and emergency services to the victims of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
