“Deadpool” creator Rob Liefeld was interviewed at San Diego Comic-Con where he compared the upcoming “Deadpool 2” to “Rush Hour.” According to Rob Liefeld, the two films have similar graphics and almost same characters. The creator also speaks to Independent UK about the comparison between the upcoming sequel to “Deadpool” and the buddy cop film, mentioning that “Rush Hour” and “Deadpool 2” are inspired by the same book.

Liefeld added more on Facebook and Twitter on Sunday, July 30. “The pairing of Deadpool and Cable has always been a contrast in combustible and style,” he tweeted.
On Facebook, he wrote, “Take your pictures from Lethal Weapon to Rush Hour to Turner and Hooch.”
In the meantime, we would love to inform you that “Deadpool 2” may feature en expanded character of Colossus. The film will reportedly introduce several new characters such as Domino (Zazie Beetz) and Cable (Josh Brolin); Deadpool’s buddies Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus might take a back seat in the sequel. “Deadpool 2” sees David Leitch directing a cast that includes T. J. Miller, Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni and Stefan Kapicic.
Who is new to the cast?
Zazie Beetz (“Atlanta”), Josh Brolin (“Avengers: Infinity War”), Jack Kesy (“The Strain”) and Shioli Kutsuna (“The Outsider”) are new to the film.
The Dark Horizons reveals that Julian Dennison (“Hunt for the Wilderpeople”) may play a supporting role in the movie, but the officials have refused to say anything in this regard.
“Deadpool 2,” co-written by David Leitch, will swing into theaters on June 1st, 2018. After the unprecedented success of the first movie, producer Simon Kinberg revealed that discussions had begun regarding ideas for a sequel.
One idea was to introduce the character of Cable, and the other idea was to focus on the role of Colossus. Finally, in July 2016, Deadline reported that the new film would focus on the character of Domino, who had connections to both Colossus and Cable.
Pre-production began in June 2017, at Hatley Castle in Canada, which was used to portray the X-Mansion in the “X-Men” movie.
