In an interesting development, Ryan Reynolds, the "Deadpool" actor confirmed on March 09, 2017, that Zazie Beetz has joined the cast of "Deadpool 2" to play the character of Domino, the fellow mutant mercenary.

Reynolds revealed this news through his official Twitter handle, that too in the form of a typically cheesy message. Fans of the franchise should require a decoder to understand the message encrypted in the cheesy picture.

Neena Thurman: The trained assassin

The character of Domino first popped up in Marvel Comics in the early 1990s. Specialized in handling various super power weapons, Neena Thurman alias the Domino is a trained assassin with many deadly skills including her subconscious ability to influence her luck on difficult situations.

The time-hopping Cable, a fan-favorite character will also be introduced in the sequel. Domino is Cable's partner and sometimes his lover. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the finalization of the actor who will play the character of Cable.

A teaser which confirms the possibility of a sequel

Audiences who are about to see Hugh Jackman's "Logan" in theaters can expect a teaser of "Deadpool 2" which features Ryan Reynolds in the unique red and black attire. Marvel legend Stan Lee is also expected to appear in a cameo role in this teaser.

Zazie Beets' breakout performance in "Atlanta.''

Zazie started her career in 2013, acting in a short movie named "The Crocotta." Later, she appeared in the 2015 horror comedy, "Applesauce" which emerged as a disaster at the box-office.

Her breakthrough role came in 2016 when the starlet played the character of Donald Glover's best friend in the TV series "Atlanta." Zazie beat out five actresses including, Lizzy Caplan, Sienna Miller, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead to obtain this role.

An official announcement regarding the release date of "Deadpool 2" is yet to be made. However, credible sources to the movie claim that the film will have a Summer 2018 release. Stay tuned for more updates.
