“#Deadpool” was one of the successful movies last year that was distributed by 20th Century Fox. We may still be less than a year out from the first “Deadpool” movie, but fans are already excited to see the second part of it, which is said to be released on June 1, 2018.
‘Deadpool 2’ confirmed not to explain much of Cable’s origin
In the upcoming “Deadpool 2,” two characters from the #Marvel comic book will be introduced: Domino, who will be played by “Atlanta” star Zazie Beetz, and Cable, who will be played by “No Country for Old Men” star Josh Brolin.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, although the film will introduce both characters, it won’t be exploring Cable’s backstory, contradicting what was reported earlier.
ScreenRant interviewed the “Deadpool 2” director David Leitch, wherein he said that Cable’s history probably won’t be explained in the film. However, Leitch said that because so much character’s origin story is unknown in the sequel, there’s a possibility that they will explore it in the future, whether in the third “Deadpool” movie or a Cable solo film.
The spirit of Deadpool can specify different things. Perhaps, the narrator played by Ryan Reynolds will give the viewers a brief summary of who Cable is or maybe he will just give us one sentence summary of Cable and let the action do the talking.
Other stars fans will see in the upcoming sequel include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Leslie Uggams as Blind AI and Brianna Hildebrand, who will be returning as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Ryan Reynolds won’t be doing any stunt
Fans are very excited for “Deadpool 2,” the sequel to the popular 20th Century Fox film.
“Deadpool 2” is an action movie with lots of stunts in it, but Ryan Reynolds confirmed that he won’t be performing any stunts in the sequel due to the severe injury on his back, which he acquired on the set of 2013’s “Safe House.”
While promoting his latest movie “The Hitman’s Bodyguard,” the 40-year-old actor explained to Empire Magazine that doing stunts gave him bad injuries, wherein he even broke a couple of bones in his neck.
The actor went ahead to explain that the situation was bad. It was about his seventh time at the doctor’s office, and he remembered the doctor writing on a prescription pad, ripping off the note where it has ‘Stuntman’ print in it. Because of what happened, he now uses four guys to do the stunts for him.
‘Deadpool 2’ behind the scenes
In the midst of “Deadpool 2’s” production, new photos from the sequel’s set were also circulating online. The new photo taken from the set, which was filmed on Aug. 1 in Vancouver, features Deadpool hanging on a parachute, though it was not clear whether the person behind the suit was Reynolds or a stunt man.
