What might start as a good friendship could end up in a more romantic relationship. There could be no ‘weird and wonderful’ and out-of-the-ordinary love stories than the one between two men from different generations. When the movie, "Call Me By Your Name," premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, it garnered an unbelievable rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. This signifies that movies dealing with a romance between same-sex couples are now gaining recognition and social acceptance.

The endless love story of 'Call Me By Your Name'

In the film, the 30-year-old acclaimed actor, Armie Hammer, takes the role of a 24-year-old American scholar, Oliver, who is visiting Italy.

During the vacation, he meets Elio, a 17-year-old American-Italian boy (played by Timothee Chalamet) who is also making a visit to his family's villa. The internship of Oliver for Elio's father became a start of their relationship. Elio magically falls in love with Oliver.

Early on in the trailer, Elio is paying attention to Oliver as the latter is making out with a beautiful woman while dancing. After a short while, the two found time alone for themselves. In their romantic conversation, Oliver insinuates that the Elio seems to be a know-it-all young man. But Elio tells Oliver that he actually does not know about matters of serious importance, such as love. This intrigues and piques the interest of Oliver, which creates a very awkward moment for the two.

No so soon when Oliver and Elio are seen lying together as the former tells the latter: 'Call me by your name, and I'll call you by mine.'
