'"Big Brother 19" viewers have met Josh Martinez and his many sides this summer. He can be volatile and unpredictable, but the guy is honest and loyal. He has entered a duo with Christmas, with Paul as the leader. It is getting down to a cutthroat part of the game and Josh may need a little guidance.
The following will contain "Big Brother 19" spoilers. If you don't want to know what may make the editorial cut, now is the time to stop reading.
Did production warn Josh?
A few days ago there were rumors. Nothing new for "Big Brother" but these struck a chord.
Josh let it slip that someone from production had dropped the hint that Paul may not have his best interest in mind. He just can't seem to wrap his head around this though. He is loyal to Paul and Christmas. Josh has helped them execute plan after plan, has unleashed craziness on other houseguests at Paul's instruction, and has never even considered that Paul may be using him.
Paul is the only vet in the "Big Brother 19" game and is the self-proclaimed resident expert. Zingbot reminded him of his loss last year, however. Paul is playing it very different this year and the houseguests are all falling in line just where he wants them. There are currently three duos in the game with him and Kevin as solo players.
Paul has worked his way into being the friend to each of the duos -- the friend they can't do without. The crazy thing is, the duos are keeping their space and not even trying to ban together against Paul.
Is Josh rethinking his situation in the house?
Though Josh appeared to have shrugged off the warning, it is apparently weighing on his mind.
When he was alone with a camera he talked to live feeders about the situation. He shared that he trusts Paul completely but it may be time to reassess. Josh has shown "Big Brother 19" viewers that he is more observant and focused than he comes across.
If Josh were to make a move and turn on Paul, he would need recruits for the battle.
Jason and Kevin could probably be swayed but Raven, Christmas, and Alex are blind to Paul's manipulations. If no one changes the script, the Final Four will include Paul, Christmas, Josh, and possibly Kevin or Raven. Paul wants someone he can beat at the end and he feels like he has the best odds against this core group.
As we get into the final weeks of "Big Brother 19" many fans on social media would be happy to see Paul fall from the high horse he has been riding. No matter what you think of his game play, he has managed to outplay them all so far this season. Do you think Josh may be the one to change the outcome that has been set in place?
