ABC made an official cast announcement for one contestant of "Dancing with the Stars" season 25 on "Good Morning America" Wednesday morning. In one week the entire cast list will be released, in addition to the pro dancers being paired with them. The hype is escalating over who'll be dancing in season 25 of the show and some of the rumored contestants will appear, while others won't make the cut.
Who' the first official 'DWTS' contestant?
Who's going to be on "Dancing with the Stars'" official cast for the fall season? According to ABC, "Property Brothers'" Drew Scott.
The HGTV star will be paired with Emma Slater, who won season 24 of the show. Scott says he's an "athletic guy," but doesn't know how to dance. He has a black belt in karate, which is believed to help him with some of the challenging moves required on the dance floor. Athleticism goes a long way in the dance world!
Slater's challenge with celebrity partner
Slater says she's never had anyone with that kind of experience before, but Drew knows "where to put his body." The pro says she feels the pressure to continue a winning streak and feels confident that she has the right dance partner to go the distance in winning that second mirror ball trophy!
The biggest challenge this "Dancing with the Stars" cast member has for Slater?
His height, she shares. Due to his long arms and legs, she has to wear her actual dance shoes in practice or her hair hits him in the face!
Others rumored to be on official 'DWTS' cast
Another contestant anticipated to be on "Dancing with the Stars" is WWE star, Nikki Bella. Several reports have confirmed her as being a contestant on season 25, but she hasn't been announced as an official contender by ABC.
She was asked about the rumors by Entertainment Tonight and said she "totally would" go on the show if she was asked. Bella promised "not to embarrass" herself if she were to compete on the hit reality show. She added that her fiance, John Cena, would very much support her decision to join the cast, but would have to discuss it with him first.

The full official cast announcement for "Dancing with the Stars" season 25 won't be revealed until Wednesday, September 6. It's always exciting for fans to find out who's going to be battle it out on the dance floor for the mirror ball trophy. Who would you like to see join the show?
