Audra Mcdonald has finally confirmed of reprising her role in the CBS "The Good Wife" spinoff, "The Good Fight." The news has been officially announced by CBS on Tuesday during the Television Critics Association press tour. After learning the news, most of the viewers were thrilled since Liz Lawrence will finally be back on the TV screen. To recall, Lawrence was known as a tough attorney in the United States and the former wife of Adrian Boseman. In the upcoming Season 2, Entertainment Tonight has learned that she will have to deal with a number of unresolved issues from the previous season.
Series regular
Amid the recent news, it was also revealed that McDonald will be joining "The Good Fight" Season 2 as one of the series regular cast members. She will also be joined by other stars like Christine Baranski, Rose Leslie, Sarah Steele, and Justin Bartha. Meanwhile, Robert and Michelle King, the series executive producers, have revealed that the entire production has been thrilled that McDonald will finally return to the show.
The producers have further shared that they were both dying to work with an actress like her. Her craft in acting as well as her talent in comedy has definitely made her the right person for "The Good Fight" Season 2. Without a doubt, McDonald has the intelligence and strength that will perfectly suit the character of Liz Lawrence, being a tough attorney.
CBS All access series
Apart from the news about McDonald reprising her role, it was also reported that CBS All Access will have three more series slated to air on its network. According to Entertainment Tonight, CBS is also slated to air an original comedy series, "No Activity." The show is set to feature a major drug cartel bust and its story will center on two cops who have spent much of their time in the car together.

Further, CBS has finally revealed that these series will be released before this year ends. In addition, another series which is slated to join the roster is "Strange Angel." The series was created by Mark Heyman and is based on the book by George Pendle.
The upcoming series will also center on a dramatic story between genius, madness, science, and science fiction. Lastly, CBS is also adding ”$1" to their list of TV shows. The show is set in a small Rust Belt town during a post-recession in America.
Meanwhile, "The Good Fight," which has been renewed for Season 2, is slated to premiere later this year or in the early months of 2018.
