“Highschool Musical 4” movie is known to be in the works and Wildcat fans are undeniably excited to see what’s coming. Unfortunately, original stars like Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Gabreel, Monique Coleman, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron will not be returning in the series. Therefore, the last thing fans need would be a “Highschool Musical 4” fake trailer featuring them.
According to E! News, next year will be the tenth year anniversary of the said Disney franchise. Of course, we cannot look forward to what it’s going to be like after ten years for Chad, Gabriella, Ryan, Sharpay, Troy, and Taylor.
'Once a Wildcat'
A fan-made trailer entitled "Once a Wildcat" was created and it stirred up the hearts of many. E! News points out that it was too relatable despite knowing it’s a fake one. As per the report, it features several scenario clips from movies and TV shows where the earlier mentioned stars worked separately.
Well, given the impact it made, the trailer’s outcome turned out believable. It almost seems like a reunion is definitely possible to happen. Meanwhile, YouTube creator hsmutube explained why they made the trailer saying, “We're living in a time of reboots and remakes and so I thought it would be fun to see what Troy and Gabriella have been doing these past 10 years.”
The account also shared how they are only one of the million fans who wished that a reunion can happen one day.
However, these chances are obviously decreasing as time passes by, with these stars living their own separate lives – career, romance and many aspects.
Ashley Tisdale reacts on the fake trailer
The former “Highschool Musical” star apologizes to fans after calling the said trailer ‘funny.’ Some fans responded that it was not funny as they talked about feeling sad after watching it.
Tisdale explained that she just wanted to give a shout out to whoever made the video.
Meanwhile, the trailer talked about the difficulties as they grow up. The lines that were delicately picked focused on their relationships, love, and marriage. On one hand, it is what happened between Gabriella Montes and Troy Bolton that got the fans emotional.

The trailer implies how both characters are not talking for a long time. Sadly, this is not far from the truth considering Efron and Hudgens are not acquainted anymore. Furthermore, the original plot of the upcoming “Highschool Musical 4” focuses on Ryan and Sharpay’s cousins. They were described as a talented musical theatre star and accomplished athlete.
