The upcoming premiere of "iZombie" Season 4 opens with the aftermath of Discovery Day after it was revealed that zombies do exist! Can Liv save the remaining humans? Will they ever find a cure?
More zombies, fewer brains
Series creator and EP rob thomas said that zombies will not have enough food to keep them in check. "There are barely enough brains coming in to feed Seattle zombies," Thomas told TV Line. "Zombies are going hungry."
Few months after the big reveal, Seattle is now just hanging by a thread as the living and the dead must have to co-exist together.
It won't be easy as there are pressing matters they need to attend to. One of which is a looming shortage of brains for the zombies.
A brave (Corrupted) new world
In addition to this, Thomas shared the theme for next season. Corruption will be the main culprit among those who are in power.
The new season will feature a radical change in Seattle as it becomes the headquarter of all zombies. The city will now face a crisis that might eventually endanger the human race. As a result, the government might resort to desperate measures in order to maintain peace.
They have to agree with the enemy's terms and work alongside Filmore Graves. Previous reports say that Season 4 will start with a celebrity campaign asking people to willingly give their brains away.
Citizens are now required to sign up for donor cards in exchange for their safety.
What's next for Chase Graves?
Thomas confirmed in a TV Guide interview that Jason Dohring will reprise his role in "iZombie" Season 4. His character, Chase Graves, will be the main man in the zombie-ism issue.
Chase previously revealed that they contaminated the flu vaccine given to unknowing Seattle citizens.
During the citywide broadcast, he asked them to supply the brains and the undead won't go against them.
Chase will be "under a ton of pressure" despite having a huge chunk of authority. First of all, the unwilling zombies are not feel happy being the bargaining chip between his company and the government. Thomas added, "He's got a city full of humans who aren't happy that, among other things, the Seahawks have left town and that some people in the U.S.
want to nuke Seattle."
