Who's checking out from 'Grey's Anatomy'?
When "Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 premieres, the staff members of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital has yet to move past the gruesome incident which almost endangered their lives.
The promo opens with Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) thanking them for having strong spirits during the fire. However, they felt surprised when several beams began crumbling down. The facility is now in dire need of a massive facelift since several rooms cannot be used for awhile.
The clip also teased on several updates regarding some big changes on the characters. Bailey fired Eliza (Marika Dominczyk) from the team. It was after she failed to call for help when Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) and Erin (Darby Camp) were trapped inside. They even had an alteration that saving lives must be the top priority rather than following protocol and rules.
Jessica Hinton will also not return for the upcoming season. Her character was brought to a burn center in Texas after suffering life-threatening injuries in the season finale. Hinton is set to appear in a starring role in Alan Ball's "Here, Now" on HBO.

Trouble in paradise
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 will bring some rifts in the current lineup of lovers.
Titled as "Break Down the House," Season 14 Episode 1 will also kick off with Owen's sister Megan Hunt (Abigail Spencer) who will have to undergo some tests.
Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Nathan (Martin Henderson) talked about her well-being. Based on the second video, their conversation looks very awkward. They previously developed their feelings for each other.
But with Megan's arrival, Nathan is now caught between his presumed dead girlfriend and current lover. This only brought more issues when Maggie (Kelly McCreary) confronted him to pick a side already in the third clip.
While Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Alex (Justin Chambers) had a conversation, she and Andrew (Giacomo Gianniotti) glanced at one another.
This hints that the trio will address the messy situation regarding her past this season. Meanwhile, Maggie and Jackson also had some screen time together as well.

'Get off on the Pain' spoilers
The two-hour premiere will introduce Kim Raver and Stefania Spampinato as recurring casts. Raver will return back in scrubs as "Grey's Anatomy" brings Teddy Altman back after five years. The actress became part of Season 6 roster until she left a few seasons ago.
According to speculations, her comeback is somewhat connected to her ex Owen (Kevin McKidd).
His estranged wife Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) received a call from Teddy who told her that his sister is alive. It is still unknown if Teddy will become the third wheel between the couple or not. But there is a possibility that she may become a permanent fixture at the hospital because she will join her former ward with Maggie as the head.
In other news, Stephanie Spampinato will appear in multiple episodes as Andrew's sister Carina DeLuca. Her role is still kept under wraps but she is one of the new faces who will "spice things up around the hospital." The synopsis from Spoiler TV says her research will bring a discovery that will shock them.
Carina might become a hindrance for everyone including her own brother, Andrew (Gianniotti).
Giacomo Gianniotti also told ET Online that there will be some heated exchange between the two siblings from Italy. Her feisty European background might make the other doctors feel uncomfortable too.
