The end of a well-loved series just like "Harry Potter" has definitely given the fans a serious dose of separation anxiety. Up until now, the world of "Harry Potter" is still very much alive, with the fans either still checking the fan-made Pottermore website, or simply re-reading the books and watching all the movie adaptations all over again. The good news is there are reportedly two new "Harry Potter" books set to be released in October. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is in partnership with The British Library's book exhibition "A History Of Magic." The said exhibition will begin in October and will run until February 2018.

The initiative of The British Library to release two new "Harry Potter" books is considered to be their commemoration of the franchise's 20th anniversary. The British publishing house, Bloomsbury, also confirmed the good news and will be coordinating with The British Library for the publication process.

'Harry Potter', a history of magic

Looking back, the journey of J.K. Rowling's creations has really been nothing short of magical. As the book series became more popular worldwide, the fans and followers of the franchise also increased until it became one of the biggest fandoms in the world.

Fans of Harry Potter proudly call themselves "Potterheads," and as the announcement of two upcoming books related to the franchise became viral, everyone is so excited to see another extension of the fictitious world.

It's good to note, however, that there will be little to no chances that a new story will be weaved in the upcoming two books. If anything, the upcoming books will focus more on giving the viewers significant flashbacks that will make the fans understand each and every character in the franchise.

Of alchemy, ancient witchcraft, and unicorns

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two new upcoming "Harry Potter" books will focus more on giving the viewers a chance to get to know the characters better. Other important and unanswered details will also be answered. The subjects offered at Potter's wizarding school will also be revealed.

The fans can also expect more flashbacks in the upcoming "Harry Potter" books. That said, although the upcoming books are expected to focus more on flashbacks as well as tackle alchemy, unicorns, and ancient witchcraft, the fans are excitedly waiting for easter eggs that can be found in the soon-to-be published books.
