The coach that brought “Dance Moms to greater heights has finally turned herself in after it was postponed from June 30. ALDC founder crimes led her to 366 days in prison

Miller was convicted of bankruptcy fraud and concealment of income from the show. She will be behind bars for 366 days.

The judge handling her bankruptcy case accidentally saw Miller on her show and he wondered where her income from the show goes. An investigation was started by the FBI, the IRS, and the postal inspectors. Earlier on July 12, she tweeted that it is going to be a tough day as reported by Deadline.

The ALDC founder has already prepared herself for prison life although at first she was overwhelmed with the thought of going to prison. After she was handed her sentence, she said that she felt peaceful and relieved. In the presence of press people earlier she said that she was sorry for what she has done and the inconvenience she has caused to others.

She said that she as accepted her sentence and assures everyone present that she will never be in front of a court again.

The 'Dance Moms' mentor's crimes

Abby Lee Miller was sentenced two years after she was initially indicted of withholding information that she has signed a contract with “Dance Moms” after she has filed for bankruptcy.

She hid as per court records $755,000 in various bank accounts and even receives her salary under her mother’s name.

Maddie Ziegler’s mentor was not hampered by her incarceration. In fact, Miller informed before her prison term that she will produce shows of the same kind after her prison stint.

She lost her position in the show after she had a misunderstanding with the producer.

She resigned and was replaced by “Dancing with the Stars” pro Cheryl Burke. Burke criticized the way she dealt with her students and revealed that she will handle her students differently.

Abby Lee Miller is now languishing in prison. She used to fear that she will be hurt or abused inside the walls of her temporary home. But when she checked in more than one hour ahead of her schedule, it only means that the “Dance Moms” former coach is ready to face the consequences of her mistakes.
