Christina El Moussa has no pretensions when she sat down for an interview with Good Housekeeping. She admitted having a new boyfriend, talked about the professional relationship with her former husband Tarek El Moussa and Tarek’s feelings about Doug Spedding, Christina’s new beau.

She revealed that Spedding was one of the men she dated before she married her “Flip or Flop” co-host. Their meeting which led to her renewed relationship with the Orange County businessman was a chance encounter that she believes was meant to be. The unexpected meeting at a hockey game progressed into a romantic relationship.

The mother of two revealed that her ex-husband may have felt threatened by her boyfriend’s success as reported by the Huffington Post. The 55-year-old businessman is very successful according to Christina. As for Tarek, she said that they are best as co-hosts. They meet at work at continues with their complementing partnership – she as a designer and her ex-husband in the construction aspect of their business.

The 34-year-old reality star revealed that their divorce has passed media’s close scrutiny and was criticized for their divorce. The separation was a surprise to their fans because both are doing good as a husband and wife team.

She further revealed that they are thinking about how they will address their separation on the show. The former couple is filming with their kids. The new season will be more interesting because aside from their business of flipping houses, their new lives, and their children will be featured in the new season’s episodes.

“Flip or Flop” started when Christina and Tarek El Moussa tried their hands on flipping homes after they suffered a financial loss.

Their reality show became a hit because of their amazing on-screen chemistry. Their tandem clicked because they complement each other. She is good at designing and her ex-husband has mastered the ins and outs of construction.

They failed at communication according to the mother of Taylor, 6, and Brayden, 2. In fact, the incident that led to their divorce was caused by a misunderstanding. Police authorities were called to their home after Tarek El Moussa stormed out of their home with a gun. It was later found out that he brought the gun to serve as a protection while he was in the woods to unwind.

Tarek El Moussa filed for divorce in May 2016. The couple agreed to co-parent their two kids and continue working for their show. As for new relationships; Tarek is yet to reveal the new woman in his life. Christina El Moussa and Doug Spedding are getting serious and has introduced Christina to his children.
