Although the fifth season of Stephen Amell-starrer television series just recently concluded, fans are now excited to see the coming of 'Arrow' Season 6. Viewers have a lot of questions left unanswered in the show’s previous season finale, thus they are all wondering what will happen next.
Fortunately, The CW recently unveiled a big teaser about the show’s future in a San Diego Comic-Con synopsis.
Although the revelation is quite vague, it hints at the fate of every character that is still on Lian Yu.
The first episode’s synopsis
According to the synopsis of 'Arrow' Season 6 premiere episode 9 (via Comic Book), the epic finale just gave a new definition to "blowing up the show."
Evidently, the previous season’s final episode left a major cliffhanger as the future of the Team Arrow is all hanging in the balance. Now, the upcoming season will put more of its attention to unveil the fate of everyone in the group. The big question now is whether anyone will manage to survive the explosion or not.
The show’s stars, Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, and Paul Blackthorne will be all open to answer every question at the San Diego Comic-Con 2017 panel on July 22 at 5:50 to 6:30 p.m. Also, Katie Cassidy, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy, Rick Gonzalez, and the show’s producers will be gracing the event. Fans, too, might see a teaser footage as the television series is about to start its filming in a few days.
The next villain
Another big question fans have in mind is who will be the next villain Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) is going to face in the next 'Arrow' Season. There are a lot of possible antagonists coming in the show, but it will be definitely someone from the hero’s past.
According to TV Line, one of them is Tommy Merlin (Colin Donnell) who might be seeking revenge for something that Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) did which affected Oliver Queen.
There are also swirling rumors that the next antagonist will be two female characters, Cheshire and Lady Shiva. This will be far more different from the show’s previous big bads like Dark Archer, Deathstroke, Ra’s al Ghul, Damien Darhk, and Prometheus. However, according to Bleeding Cool, to make Cheshire appear, Colton Hayes (Roy Harper) should return. Hence, there’s a big possibility that the next villain will be Lady Shiva.
