Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez just celebrated their birthdays in Miami together over the weekend, but are they already engaged?
The couple had confirmed their relationship in March wherein the 41-year-old retired athlete revealed it during his appearance on “The View.” He said that they are having a great time and even praised the 47-year-old famous Hollywood celebrity for being the smartest and kindest mother he had ever met.
Before revealing their romance, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez had been reportedly dating for a few weeks and that they were spotted together several times in different locations.
Engagement ring spotted?
It was already reported that the former New York Yankees player and the 47-year-old singer celebrated their birthdays together in a lavish celebration last July 22.
Rodriguez posted on his Instagram showing him wearing a blue suit with a white shirt as he posed together with Lopez, who dressed up with a sheer mini black dress. He captioned the photo: “Happy birthday to Us!!! #leos #305.”
Rodriguez also shared series of photos from the birthday party. Some videos were also released wherein the couple was seen singing along to Neil Diamond’s song “Sweet Caroline.”
Some fans noted how Lopez appeared to be sporting a diamond ring on her finger. On the video where the couple was seen singing and even kissing, some people took notice the glimpse of the 47-year-old singer’s hand.
However, PEOPLE reported that on the videos, Jennifer Lopez was actually wearing a sparkly piece of jewelry on her pinky finger and not the ring finger.
Interestingly, it was previously reported that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez got engaged. According to a gossip website, the 41-year-old actor popped the question while they were together on a romantic getaway in Paris.
However, the couple never confirmed the rumors.
Romance on another level
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez revealed their romance following the athlete’s split from the Silicon Valley CEO Anne Wojcicki in February and news about Lopez and Drake’s fling “was never that serious.”
As cited on Inquistr, Rodriguez said that Lopez was on another level compared to his past girlfriends.
Moreover, Lopez also revealed she feels lucky to be with the retired athlete and said that Rodriguez is a responsible and capable man.
Rodriguez also revealed what makes their romance work. He said that despite their busy schedule, they always make time to be together.
