“Agents of SHIELD” Season 5 will return featuring the possible comeback of the inhuman super team called “Secret Warriors.” The said group was teased in Season 2 and was eventually assembled in Season 3. Unfortunately, the Secret Warriors, which is composed of SHIELD’s very own superheroes, did not last for long.
Secret Warriors group is led by Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), who is also known as Quake. She started scouting Inhumans who could be part of the team. Along the way, she met Elena Rodriguez (Natalia Cordova-Buckley), a.k.a Yo-Yo, Joey Gutierrez (Juan Pablo Raba), and her then lover Lincoln Campbell (Luke Mitchell).
It took time for them to be convinced and trust Daisy but they, later on, agreed to join the group.
Hints for the return of Secret Warriors in ‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 5
Clark Gregg, who portrays the role of Director Phil Coulson, gave hints about the possible comeback of the inhuman team on Instagram. This, of course, has immediately hyped the filming and production of Season 5. It has not been confirmed yet if the series will have new members for the team but it might turn out that way.
While Daisy and Yoyo have remained working together, Joey has not been seen since the group was disbanded or after Lincoln’s death. On the other hand, the comeback might happen in later episodes of Season 5 because, as the recent season finale showed viewers, SHIELD might get stuck somewhere in space for awhile.

When did the ‘Secret Warriors’ start?
It was in “Agents of SHIELD” Season 3, Episode 17 entitled “The Team,” when the group had its first real mission as a team. They were doing well until HIVE’s manipulation tactics turned them against each other.
The villainous group is also the reason why one of the members, Lincoln Campbell, died in the process.
As expected, it resulted in Agent Daisy’s devastation and no one can blame her. She has been broken several times and the tragic incident turned her into rebellion. In addition, Daisy has lost interest to continue leading the team as well.
At that time, Daisy thought she was to be blamed for Lincoln’s death. She returned in Season 4 as one of SHIELD’s high-level agents.
