"Rick and Morty" season 3 fans have absolutely nothing to worry about now that co-creator Dan Harmon cleared up any rumors about him and Justin Roiland having creative differences. The 44-year-old writer and producer took to Twitter to explain the long wait fans have had to endure to see the third season roll about. Back in April 1, Adult Swim aired just one episode of the third season, causing fans to assume that the next episodes will air every week. That was not the case, however, as the network did not air any more episodes. This caused fans to speculate various reasons behind the delay, including maybe a fight between Harmon and Roiland.

As per Harmon, there's no drama brewing between him and Roiland, putting those rumors to rest.

Dan Harmon crushes rumors of him and Justin Roiland fighting

According to Entertainment Weekly, Dan Harmon took to Twitter to share several messages, spanning 26 tweets. He explained that there's a "boring answer" to the delay and it's just that the "Rick and Morty" season 3 really took long to write and create. He wrote that he is aware of the many "click-bait" and absolutely false articles that are being written about him and Roiland in a feud over creative differences. He also said it was "hilariously not true even in the slightest." Harmon admitted that he is concerned about fans reading these false, click-bait articles especially "after all the energy [fans have] put into this fandom."

Writer took to Twitter to keep fans updated on developments

Dan Harmon joked that if there ever was a feud with Justin Roiland, both of them would be delighted to make it known to the public.

He even ended his hungover Twitter rant with a fake-angry "Justin is a piece of s--- I'm going to fist fight" in all caps. He also joked that maybe "Rick and Morty" season 3 would have come around faster if the two had indeed fought. But alas, he said that they did not and it's just really the struggles of producing a new season that got them in a bind.
