The widely popular Adult Swim series recently debuted "Rick and Morty" season 3 episode 1 on April 1, and it may be the biggest April Fool's joke played on television viewers ever. The network aired only one episode and remained tight-lipped on when the rest of the 14-episode season would air.

As fans are still awaiting the return of the show, here's something that will tide them over: a new Comic Book is arriving from "Firewatch" creator Sean Vanaman and artist Olly Moss. According to VG247, the comic book is set to be released in August, which isn't too long from now.

Comic book to deal with issues of fascism

The Adult Swim series that debuted in 2013 and is created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon is highly acclaimed for its humor, creativity, and originality, and how it delved into topics that are present in real life. In the comics, "Rick and Morty" season 3 characters may deal with issues of fascism. In fact, the comic book's synopsis reads, "Rick introduces Morty to a new invention: a device that measures any entity’s potential to become a fascist dictator. What could go wrong?"

There's no release date set for the comic book that will feature "Rick and Morty" season 3 characters, but they're most likely to arrive towards the end of August.

'Firewatch' receives positive reviews from critics and gamers

Campo Santo is the company co-founded by Sean Vanaman, who is one-half of the team behind the upcoming comic book that will feature "Rick and Morty" season 3 characters.

Campo Santo released "Firewatch" in February last year to PlayStation 4, PC, OS X, and Linux, followed by an Xbox One release in September. The first-person mystery adventure game follows Henry, the main protagonist, as he discovers clues to mysterious events that occurred in the Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming.

The story takes place in 1989, where he is equipped with just his walkie-talkie to communicate with his supervisor, Delilah. The game received favorable reviews from various media outlets and was even named as one of Polygon's Games of the Year in 2016.
