In a few months time, “Outlander” Season 3 is about to hit the small screens! The drought lander will be finally over as Sam Heughan, who plays the role of Jamie Fraser, and Caitriona Balfe, who portrays Claire Fraser, celebrated the end of the television series’ production.

The on-screen partners took their celebrations on their respective social media pages, announcing the conclusion of their filming in South Africa. It has been known that the show based on Diana Gabaldon’s “Voyager” has been shooting in different parts of the world and mostly in the streets of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The production’s ending

In a post by Sam Heughan, he gave his fans a glimpse of himself while looking very athletic, enjoying his bike ride. “What a ride,” the 37-year-old star captioned his snap, pertaining to their filming. He said that it was the last day of their shooting. He, then, gave his gratitude to the television series’ staff and crew in Scotland for the work they have done for the show.

Caitriona Balfe, on the other hand, shared a stunning photo of the sunrise in South Africa before she started her last few days of filming.

“Second last get up of Season 3,” she captioned her picture. Based on the beautiful sunrise, she believed that her day was going to be a very good one. She even said her “huge thank you” to the people who have helped them both in South Africa and Scotland to make the show possible.

The two are even seen together enjoying a bottle of better to officially wrap up their filming.

“Beers a wrap,” the 37-year-old actress tweeted. Aside from them, other stars and crew also shared their experiences on the filming of “Outlander” Season 3 on their social media pages.

The best chapter so far

Moreover, part of Sam Heughan’s post is a teasing statement, saying that “Outlander” Season 3 is, by far, the best among the series.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Scottish actor along with Caitriona Balfe talked about the third season’s highlights. They, too, answered their fans’ questions in a visit on their set in Scotland last fall.

The “Money Monster” star revealed that she has been looking forward to starting their production in South Africa before. She is even excited to play this part of the story and be in a new place. Alternatively, the “Young Alexander the Great” actor braggingly said that he is proud of this new season for being very strong and different compared to others. “I'm excited for the fans to see it,” he said.

“Outlander” Season 3 will be released in September on Starz.
