Thousands of fans are now excited for the upcoming album of Eminem. However, before the “Stan” rapper releases his new tracks, he would first be seen in the upcoming documentary series called “The Defiant Ones,” which will be aired on HBO.

‘Rap God’ hitmaker appearing with Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine in documentary

Baller Status shared that Eminem is going to be one of the few rappers that would be seen in the upcoming “The Defiant Ones” series. According to the news outlet, the documentary would center on the life story of Dr. Dre and his partnership with music mogul Jimmy Iovine.

The trailer featured the struggles and quandaries of Dr. Dre in convincing labels to fund and produce his first album, which is “The Chronic.” The 52-year-old American rapper almost gave up to his dreams at the time until he met Iovine of the Interscope Records.

"This was that do or die album. I put my body into this record," Dr. Dre was quoted saying. "I’m playing it for everybody and for some reason, everybody is turning it down,” the close pal of Eminem added.

Jimmy Iovine had commended Dr. Dre after learning that he had recorded “The Chronic” album all by himself. Since the two inked a deal, they have conquered a handful of music charts and sold millions of album copies around the globe.

While Dr.

Dre is the focus of “The Defiant Ones” documentary series, it cannot be denied that Iovine had also made a huge impact on the career of Eminem, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, U2 and several other artists. In an interview with Esquire, the American producer stated that his secret to success is by giving all his talent a chance without having a rearview mirror.

Eminem had taken to Twitter to promote the upcoming HBO documentary series, which is set to air on July 9. "Ignore the rules," the “Love the Way You Lie,” rapper wrote with a hashtag "#TheDefiantOnes."
