In the six-year history of Lifetime's "Dance Moms," viewers and dance fans have seen as many awesome routines as they've seen drama. The reality series is coming back with its eighth season, and fans should expect more of that, as confirmed by returning cast member chloe lukasiak, who has been known as the rival of another dancer in the form of Maddie Ziegler. The pair has both shown off their dance prowess on the show, but only one of them are returning to "Dance Moms" season 8 because as per Ziegler, the show is "the worst."

Maddie Ziegler ungrateful for time in 'Dance Moms'?

It's undeniable that Maddie Ziegler rose to fame thanks to the reality TV series.

Together with the Abby Lee Dance Company, the 15-year old dancer turned actress has won several regional, state and national dance competition titles. She's also made a name for herself after collaborating with musical artist Sia and appearing on the latter's music videos. Ziegler has also tried her hand at acting, as she has appeared in "Drop Dead Diva" and "Pretty Little Liars." She's also part of the recently released "The Book of Henry." As her career is kicking off, she's not returning to "Dance Moms" season 8 and seems to be focusing on her acting and dancing as a solo talent. But does she think her time with the reality TV show was a negative experience? She may have implied this in a new "RAW" feature, in which she participated in a game wherein she must say the first thing that comes to mind when given a random word.

According to Just Jared, Ziegler said "the worst" when "Dance Moms" was mentioned. Check out the video below.

Chloe Lukasiak returning to the reality TV series

Another dancer is coming back to "Dance Moms" season 8, and that's Chloe Lukasiak. She shared to Seventeen that while "I hadn't really left the show on good terms," she will return to grace the stage and collaborate with Cheryl Burke, whom she calls "amazing." She also compared Burke to Abby Lee Miller, who got entangled with the law and is set to serve jail time.

Lukasiak said that Burke is "pretty competitive, but she really cares about us." In addition, she also mentioned that fans "can expect a lot of drama from the show, lots of crying," but it will be quite different from the previous iterations of the reality series. She explained that viewers "have to keep an open mind this season because it does change a lot and it's going to be a little different than what fans are used to." "Dance Moms" season 8 has no premiere date set just yet, but the show is set to return with new season 7 episodes on August 1.
