There’s a new star added in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" joining the likes of Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man), Evangeline Lilly (Hope van Dyne/The Wasp), and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym). The Marvel movie’s director Peyton Reed is now building the movie’s cast, especially now that it is about to start its production in July.

The “Killjoys” star Hannah John-Kamen is going to join the sequel to the superhero film, Variety announced. However, the role of the 27-year-old star is not yet revealed as Walt Disney Studios remains mum about it.

The movie’s secrecy

Aside from Evangeline Lilly’s battle alongside Paul Rudd as the “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” nothing is known about the movie’s storyline.

It is now a big question what Hannah John-Kamen’s character would be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s movie. With that, there are now assumptions what would be the role the “Black Mirror” alum would be portraying as reported by Nerdist. Is she a friend or foe?

Possible characters John-Kamen could play

The Yellowjacket has been part of Marvel’s comic book history. It first appeared as the third alter-ego of the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym, after he turned as Giant-Man.

Later, the Yellowjacket was embodied by Rita De Mara, who could possibly be Hannah John-Kamen’s character and the new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

She was first introduced in the 1984 “Avengers #246.” She was a “career thief” that can be compared to Scott Lang from the 2015 “Ant-Man” movie. To recall, he had stolen and fixed Hanky Pym’s Yellowjacket before he helped the Masters of Evil to invade the Avengers Mansion.

Another character that she could play is the strongest female role in the Marvel Universe, Titania or a.k.a.

the Breaker of Men. She was first launched in 2015 in “Secret Wars #3.” It was the middle issue of the original Marvel crossover event. In the comics, she has a wild history and background. This even includes the most dangerous villain in the Marvel history, Doctor Doom. Hence, adding Titania in “Ant-Man and the Wasp” could be quite extreme.

Additionally, Hannah John-Kamen might play the role of Laynia Petrovna or the Darkstar. She is one of the Soviet Super Soldiers that Bucky (Sebastian Stan) was trying to control in “Captain America: Civil War.” Lastly, she could be Monica Rambeau. Although this is quite far from happening, there is still a chance that she could play as the original female Captain Marvel.
