In 2006 former Vice President Al Gore released "An Inconvenient Truth," a movie about Gore educating viewers on the effects of Global warming. According to, "global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants and greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth's surface." In the movie, Gore used slideshow presentations to prove his argument on the matter. Gore opens the movie with reminding members in attendance of his "Presidential Campaign" in the year of 2000.

In his introduction to the crowd, he says, "I am Al Gore I used to be the next President of the United States." His main focus is to show everyone how temperature increases are taking place all over the world and which is raising the risk for stronger storms.

Now, eleven years later set to release next month is the sequel to "An Inconvenient Truth" titled, "An Inconvenient Sequel."
