"Big & Little" is the newest TLC show. It is set to debut soon, with the first trailer being released recently. It is set up around two little people, one man, and one woman. They are severely obese, one of them carrying around 100 extra pounds of fat. "Big & Little" is going to document the quest to get fit by both parties over the course of nine months. Think "Biggest Loser" only instead of a group competition, they are doing this alone. It is already being talked about, which can only mean the likelihood of success is there.

TLC uses shock value

The network is no stranger to outrageous shows and the fans they bring. "19 Kids and Counting" brought in a ton of viewers up until it was canceled in 2015. Other shows like "90 Day Fiance" and "Here Comes Honey Boo" have bought in their own fans, which has kept TLC interested in developing new shows. "Big & Little" is one of the new shows and it mixes two things that TLC loves, little people and obesity. This show, coupled with "My 600-lb Life," will bring all of the critics front and center. TLC feeds on any type of attention, even if it is negative.

The two people participating in "Big & Little" are Chuck Love and Ayanna. They will work with a personal trainer to help get their lives back on track.

Allison Warrell is the name of the woman employed to help them work on getting themselves healthy. According to the Hollywood Gossip, she was once heavy and worked to get herself to a place where she was fit and could help people who were in the same place she was. The trailer makes it seem like "Big & Little" is going to be more than just a knock-off of "The Biggest Loser," it is going to be an emotional investment.

When does "Big & Little" begin?

The series premiere of "Big & Little" begins tonight on TLC. It airs at 10 p.m. EST and will document the journey of Chuck love and Ayanna. The trailer released discusses the trials the little people are facing in a world geared toward the average person. Portion sizes, exercise routines, and more that the average person wouldn't see as being a problem.

Allison Warrell is the trainer who will be working alongside Chuck and Ayanna and as a little person, she is the best person for the job.

Don't forget to set your DVR for tonight's series premiere of "Big & Little." It is going to be one of those niche shows only the TLC network could pull off. If you are already a fan of "Little People, Big World," this one is going to be right up your alley too!
