Hey, "Grey's Anatomy" fans. We're finally here at the big season 13 finale episode 24, and it sounds like some real wild stuff is about to go down with the doctors, because we're being told that the lives of all the doctors will actually be at risk when a very dangerous patient makes a run for it from their hospital room! Then we've got some more drama with Alex and Jo, as he'll have to make a very tough decision regarding that whole situation, and more! The wonderful ABC folks are the ones that supplied these interesting storyline spoilers via an episode press release.
"Ring Of Fire"
They also told us what the title for this installment is. The producers decided that "Ring Of Fire" would be an excellent name for it. To get their big finale description started, they made sure to put that whole dangerous patient storyline in all capital letters, telling us that they are definitely going to be put in a life-threatening situation due to this crazy patient, escaping his or her hospital room.
Yeah, they didn't tell us if this patient will be a him or a her, so that's a question mark for this storyline. We also want to know how this patient ends up escaping? And why they felt the need to? Because the last time I checked, Grey's Sloan isn't a psych ward. Yep, this is definitely going to give us a very drama-filled and super suspenseful storyline.
No doubt.
Alex and Jo situation
Next, they told us more about this whole Alex situation. Apparently, whatever is currently going on with him and Jo's relationship, is going to require that he make a choice that is going to be really, really tough! Will he be able to go through with this decision? What will this very hard choice be?
We're definitely very eager to know. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we're going to find out until this episode airs because they didn't answer those questions in this press release. However, we can already tell you that this one will, most certainly, give us some very dramatic scenes to look forward to. Big turning point
Elsewhere, they let us know about a very interesting storyline that will involve Nathan and Meredith.
Apparently, she is going to have some sort of news that's so freaking huge that it will actually cause there to be a big turning point for them. The obvious questions for this scenario, is what in the hell with this huge news be? And what is this turning point that results from it? Hopefully, we'll get an answer to these questions in this particular episode.
The reason I say that is because this is the season-ender show, which means they're probably going to leave one of these storylines in cliffhanger mode to lead into the new 14th season, which has already been confirmed by the way, so that's great news. This episode was written by Stacy McKee, and they got Debbie Allen to direct it.
A lot on his mind
We've also got an official photo for the finale (above). It features Alex, looking like he has a lot on his mind. Also, we can confirm that episode 14 is officially set to air next Thursday night, May 18th,2017 at 7 pm central time on ABC. Stay tuned.
