Hey "The Flash" fans. Yep, it's true we've got Captain Cold, showing back up on the scene in the upcoming, huge season 3 finale episode 22 next week. Apparently, Barry aka The Flash will only have 24 hours left to figure out how to stop Savitar from murdering Iris, and is going to get really desperate to find some type of help with this crazy situation. The CW and their latest episode press release, is what we're thanking for these new, storyline spoiler teasers.
"Infantino Street"
They, of course, also let us know what the title is for this big finale installment.
It is: "Infantino Street." They started off their official description by telling us that the countdown is going to certainly begin, referencing the fact that there's only 24 hours left until Savitar does his number on Iris. They also mention that actor ,Wentworth Miller, is definitely returning to reprise his Captain Cold character. This was all put in capital letters, so these will, no doubt, be the two, very big storylines for this episode.
Just 24 hours
Next, they went on to elaborate more about them, telling us that the scene will be set for just 24 hours until Savitar stabs the hell out of Iris, causing her to meet her maker! Oh no! This will , of course, cause Barry to be in a state of major dismay as he attempts to find any means necessary to rescue her!
What will Barry come up with that could possibly save Iris' life? Will he ever actually come up with something? Those are the very huge questions for this storyline.
Only option
Luckily, CW did deliver an answer to these big questions, right here, in this freaking press release! Ok, so here's what's going to happen. Apparently, Barry will think that his only option that he has left, is to go track down his old nemesis, Captain Cold, for some help. So, that's exactly what he's going to do. Will Captain Cold agree to help him save Iris? Or will he turn him down? If he does decide to help, will there be some strings attached? These are a couple more major questions for this storyline.
Unfortunately, CW didn't answer those questions in this synopsis reveal.
We're definitely going to have to tune in next week to find out how all that will play out. However, we may still catch a few glimpses of what will be going down when CW serves up the preview clip for the finale episode later on tonight after episode 21 wraps up, so you'll definitely want to keeps your eyes peeled for that one. This episode was directed by Michael Allowitz directed. Andrew Kreisberg is listed as having delivered the storyline, and the teleplay was done by Grainne Godfree.
Alright, guys. That's all that the CW gave us for teasers this week for their final season 3 episode. As previously reported, we will be getting a new season 4. CW gave it an early renewal, so we could definitely be seeing this thing end with a cliffhanger that sets up for the new season. Brace yourselves for that.
