Mama June has done her fair share of reality shows, but it sounds like she wants at least one more. Hollywood Life revealed that Mama June is hoping to pick up another show now that "Mama June: From Not to Hot" is over with, but her daughter Alana Thompson isn't really feeling it. When "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" was canceled, Mama June did everything she could to stay on television. She did a season of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" and then moved on to get her own show on WE called "Mama June: From Not to Hot."
Why doesn't Alana Thompson want to do the show?
It turns out that Alana Thompson isn't feeling her mom's new healthy lifestyle.
It sounds like this is the reason she doesn't want to be on reality television. Alana has made it clear that she loves the spotlight. June is actually talking to the network about a follow-up show that would be all about her family embracing her healthy lifestyle. The girls did not lose weight with June when she lost it.
June is very focused on being healthy, and right now she is eating well. It sounds like she would like the family to do it with her, but the girls aren't feeling it. Mama June doesn't seem to be giving up just yet, though.
Will she be able to talk her daughter into it?
Honestly, right now it doesn't sound like Mama June will be able to talk her daughter into doing the show. The source explained saying, "Alana is super against the new TV show.
She doesn’t want to lose weight, or to start eating salads and exercising. She’s quite happy the way she is, thank you very much. But, June is pretty determined, and where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
It sounds like this may be a fight between Mama June and Honey Boo Boo, but if they need the money bad enough, she may be able to talk her into doing the show.
Only time will tell if she can get her to do it. Mama is the boss, but if the girls aren't on board then the show won't work since it will be about them getting healthy like she did.
This isn't the only show that Mama June Shannon has been talking about, though. It turns out that she is also hoping that now that she has lost all the weight she can get a spot on "Dancing With the Stars." A lot of people go on this show to lose weight, but Mama already lost it.
She is a perfect fit for the show and fans can't wait to hear if they do end up wanting her to do it or not.
