"Beverly Hills, 90210" was an iconic show for teens and young adults in the 90s. Jennie Garth played Kelly Taylor and Tori Spelling played her best friend, Donna Martin. Both were originals on the show and it is rumored that when new cast members joined, they weren't very welcoming. After Shannen Doherty left the role of Brenda Walsh, things around the set became a little more awkward. Tiffani Thiessen joined the show as Valerie Malone and from there, things went downhill fast.
Jennie and Tori freeze Tiffani out
Over the years, Tiffani Thiessen has given several interviews about her friendship with Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling.
She reportedly was not welcomed into the cast when she joined "Beverly Hills, 90210" in 1994. The other girls shunned her and made her earn a spot in their inner circle. Once some time went by, Thiessen was finally able to connect with Garth and Spelling. The ladies became incredibly close, but their friendship hasn't stood the test of time.
According to Us Weekly, Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling threw some major shade at Tiffani Thiessen during an episode of "RuPaul's Drag Race" where they were guest judges. The premise of the show was a throwback to honor "Beverly Hills, 90210" and someone came dressed as Valerie Malone, the character Tiffani Thiessen played on the show. The shade was real, and it is being talked about all over social media.
Friendship falls apart and bad blood emerges
Tiffani Thiessen has mentioned numerous times about being there when Jennie Garth had her first child with her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli. Things went downhill after that and while the details of their falling out have not been disclosed, Thiessen has hinted that it was Garth's fault.
This isn't shocking to some fans who have always seemed to believe Jennie was more abrasive and cold than she needed to be. Her reputation was that of a difficult-to-work-with actress, though he co-stars haven't complained about her. Whatever happened had to be intense for them to not be speaking several years later.
This is something that isn't going to go away.
Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling have been making their rounds and reliving the days of "Beverly Hills, 90210." Last November, they joined several of their former co-stars for a "Beverly Hills, 90210" panel. It was the first in 20 years and people from all over flew into Chicago to have a seat in front of the stellar case. While Garth and Spelling didn't talk about Tiffani Thiessen there, they were definitely throwing shade about other things.
