Dina Manzo and her sister, Caroline Manzo, weren't on the best of terms when "Real Housewives of New Jersey" last heard from them but on Tuesday, after Dina and her boyfriend, David Cantin, were robbed and attacked at their New Jersey home, her estranged sister and former co-star spoke out.

"I hope the police get to the bottom of this and whoever is responsible for this gets what's coming to them," Caroline said in a statement to E! News on May 16. At the same time, Caroline and Dina's brother, Chris Laurita, the husband of their former co-star, Jacqueline Laurita, told the outlet he'd spoke to Dina on Monday.

"[Dina] is obviously shaken by the whole thing. She's back in California now and seems to be OK," Chris revealed. "It's unfortunate what happened. Hopefully, they'll get to the bottom of it."

Dina Manzo and her boyfriend have been living in Malibu, California for the past year. As fans may recall, Manzo relocated to the west coast after filming the sixth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" years ago.

A neighbor heard nothing of the attack

Speaking to Radar Online on May 17, Wade Wang, who lives next door to Manzo and Cantin, said he didn't hear a thing on Saturday night when the couple arrived home to find a pair of masked robbers inside. Wang also confirmed that David isn't home often.

In fact, Wang has only seen him on two separate occasions.

Dina Manzo and David Cantin were viciously attacked

After attending the first communion of Teresa Giudice's daughter, Adrianna Giudice, just hours earlier, Manzo and Cantin walked in on a home invasion and were promptly attacked by their masked intruders. As reports revealed, Manzo was repeatedly punched in her face while her boyfriend was attacked with a baseball bat.

The couple was then tied up in their home before ultimately getting loose and calling the police.

According to the E! News report, Manzo and Cantin were treated at a local hospital and later released. While the couple has remained silent since the attack, the outlet revealed Cantin suffered significant injuries to his face, including a broken nose.

Although Dina Manzo and boyfriend Cantin are staying quiet about Saturday's robbery and attack, their attorney released a statement on their behalf, which read, "Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery. They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone's concern and well-wishes."
