Dina Manzo and her boyfriend, David Cantin, have been left understandably shaken by their recent home invasion and brutal attack.

In a statement to ABC News on May 16, days after the robbery took place at their Holmdel, New Jersey home, an attorney for the former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star spoke out about how the couple is coping with the scary incident.

"[Dina Manzo] and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery. No one should ever have to go through what they did," the statement read. "They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone's concern and well-wishes."

Manzo and her boyfriend weren't initially named as the victims of the crime but sources ultimately tied them to the incident.

At the time, insiders revealed Manzo and Cantin had arrived home on Saturday night to find a pair of masked men inside.

According to the report, the robbers rushed towards Manzo and Cantin and began attacking them after they came home. As the outlet explained to readers, Dina Manzo was punched in the face while her boyfriend was hit with a baseball bat.

The couple was later bound to one another inside the home as the robbers ransacked the place before leaving the scene with cash and jewelry.

Dina Manzo and David Cantin treated for facial injuries at local hospital

"Both victims were treated for facial injures, but are otherwise expected to be physically OK," the outlet confirmed.

Dina Manzo and David Cantin were taken to a nearby hospital after the attack but have since been released.

As for their attackers, no arrests have been made.

Manzo had been active on social media in the days leading up to the robbery but has yet to return to the social media platform since the incident occurred. On her page currently, her last post was shared just before the robbery and featured Dina Manzo posing with her boyfriend and her former co-star's daughter, Audriana Giudice.

Dina Manzo is still friends with her former 'RHONJ' co-star Teresa Giudice

Dina Manzo has maintained a relationship with Teresa Giudice, despite having moved to the west coast after filming wrapped on the sixth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." The two women have long been friends and judging by Manzo's appearance at Audriana's first communion over the weekend, they are still quite close.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" returns later this year for season eight.
