April is surely a haven for Hollywood fans as three exciting films with famous performers will hit a theater near you. Last month, “Beauty and the Beast” grossed over $1 billion at the box office. This movie broke the records of previous blockbusters. We now expect that “The Fate of the Furious,” “Teen Titans: The Judas Contract,” and “Amityville: The Awakening” will gross more than “Beauty and the Beast.” Promos and posters of these films have already created excitement among fans.
‘The Fate of the Furious’
On Monday, April 10, “The Fate of the Furious” will be screened out in Los Angeles.
The cast includes Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, and Chris Bridges. Advanced tickets are available on the official website of MovieTicket. In 2015, “Furious 7” grossed over $1.510 billion worldwide and became one of the highest-grossing films of all time. It’s time to look forward to “The Fate of the Furious,” and we feel this movie will make a lot more than the previous installment. Director F. Gary Gray and writer Chris Morgan confirm the release of "The Fate of the Furious" in the United States on April 14. A sequel to the film is expected to release in 2019.
‘Teen Titans: The Judas Contract’
“Teen Titans: The Judas Contract” is one of the most anticipated films of the month.
After “Teen Titans Vs. Justice League,” it is the second movie featuring heroes from DC and Warner Animation. The story is inspired by a comic series “Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.” Director Sam Liu says that the film has Christina Ricci in the leading role. Ricci plays an aggressive young lady with the supernatural power.
Promos and posters of the film are already out, creating excitement among fans. In addition to Christina, the movie features Taissa Farmiga, Miguel Ferrer, Stuart Allan, and Sean Maher. It is scheduled to be released this month.
‘Amityville: The Awakening’
“Amityville: The Awakening” is an upcoming horror film directed by Franck Khalfoun.
It is the final installment in the “Amityville” franchise. There are rumors that the story of this movie is similar to “Amityville” The Lost Tapes,” but producer Daniel Farrands claims that it’s a completely different story. The cast includes Bella Thorne, Cameron Monaghan, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Thomas Mann, Jennifer Morrison, and Kurtwood Smith. The film is scheduled to be released on April 12, 2017. A recently released teaser trailer gives glimpses of the character of Jennifer Morrison.
