"Teen Mom 2" star Chelsea Houska and her husband Cole DeBoer seemingly have the perfect relationship. The pair, who got married in a small, intimate ceremony last fall recently welcomed their first child together, a son named Watson Cole DeBoer. Chelsea and Cole seem to have it all these days, but when Cole posted a photo of himself holding his newborn son, Watson, on his Instagram page, fans noticed something was a little off. Cole wasn't wearing the wedding ring Chelsea Houska had given him.
People immediately began to call out Cole for not wearing the ring, while others defended the symbol of marriage as nothing more than a piece of jewelry that doesn't define the couple's relationship.
Of course, some imaginative fans began to speculate that the couple could be having marital issues, and that is the reason Cole wasn't wearing his wedding band.
Cole shuts down the haters with one comment
Thankfully, Cole DeBoer cleared up the entire mess with one comment. Chelsea Houska's husband revealed that he was, in fact, wearing his wedding band in the Instagram photo. saying that it's a silicone ring that he wears while he's working with his hands, mainly for safety issues, and that it's copper colored. "I actually am wearing my ring. It's just a silicone ring I wear for work that is copper colored." While Cole shut down the rumors about his wedding ring, there is unfortunately more gossip surrounding the couple.
Are Chelsea and Cole leaving 'Teen Mom 2' for good?
As previously reported by Blasting News, speculation is flying that Chelsea Houska-DeBoer may be quitting "Teen Mom 2." The fan favorite mom is said to be considering leaving her reality television days behind her and focusing on her new life as a wife to Cole and a mother of two to little Aubree and newborn baby boy, Watson.
Fueling the fire are reports that former "Teen Mom 3" star, Briana DeJesus, has been re-hired by the network to join the cast of "TM2." Briana, who is currently pregnant with her second child, has allegedly been seen filming for Season 8 of the show in her home state of Florida.
Cast feud erupting?
Rumors are flying that the rest of the cast members are not happy about Briana DeJesus being incorporated into the show.
Recently, Jenelle Evans even refused to talk about the news that Briana was joining the cast, revealing that she even told MTV she would not be filmed speaking about the new addition to the beloved MTV reality series.
