Schools are out, and you know what that means: It’s time to draw the blinds and catch up on the games and apps you’ve missed this year. The Steam Summer Sale is back with another collection of exciting games, available from tomorrow until July 5, 2017.

It would not be wrong to say that Steam’s summer sale isn’t as special as it used to be, given the excision of Flash Sales and everything that used to make rampant consumerism feel like an “event.” Still, you have a chance to fill up your library with Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Mafia Iii and Shadow Of Mordor like games.

Call of Duty

Call of Duty is one of the most famous first-person shooter games to date. The series started on Microsoft Windows, and later expanded to handhelds and consoles. Several spin-off games have recently been released, such as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII. The Call of Duty games are set primarily in World War II, and they are published by Activision. The first game was released on October 29, 2003, by Gray Matter Interactive in collaborations with Pi Studios.

Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy is a science fiction media franchise, developed by Hironobu Sakaguchi and Square Enix. The franchise centers on a series of multiplayer video games. Although most Final Fantasy installments are stand-alone stories with multiple settings, they feature similar characters and elements that define the franchise.

The most popular installments are Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy XV and a couple of sequels, all of them are released on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

Mafia III

Mafia III starts off so strong, and it's a kind of adventure game created by Hangar 13 and 2K Games for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, MacOS, and Xbox One.

Set in New Bordeaux, a fictional world, Mafia III deals with racism, boasts an outstanding soundtrack and astonishing visuals. You can pick it up for $14.79, or you can nab Mafia II for $7.50, a 75% discount. The most popular game versions are Mafia and Mafia II, and Mafia III's map is made up of Bayou Fantom, Southdowns, Frisco Fields, Tickfaw Harbor, and River Row like districts.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has been around for years. You can get the game for $3.99, and the price is low because Warner Bros. wants to get as many people playing it as possible. This action game has been developed by Monolith Productions, based on Tolkien's novels “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit.” The game has been developed for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360.

The front-page highlights are refreshed every 24 hours, though the prices won’t change at all.
