Alright, "Riverdale" fans. CW delivered pretty big, this week, delivering a couple of intense storyline scoops that will be featured in the upcoming episode 12 of season 1. For starters, we've got Cheryl, finally standing up to her mother, at one point, to confront her over the fact that she treats her like crap! I can't wait to see that. We'll be seeing Veronica and Archie, making a decision to tell their parents about the arrest. Jughead will be featured as well.
All about murder
The title for this thing, is all about murder, baby. That's right.
Vicious, vicious murder. They've called it: "Chapter Twelve: Anatomy of a Murder.” See, I told you. Anyways, the first thing they let us know in their official description, is that things are not always as they seem. And that is very true, indeed. We definitely won't argue with them about that.
Continuing on, they let us know that Archie and Veronica are going to be very shocked when they find out about the arrest. However, at the same time, they will realize that they must reveal all that they know to their parents. How will their parents react? What will they do about it? It's going to definitely be interesting to see what their reactions are.
Bad headspace
Next, we learn that the ,always upset, Jughead will still be feeling very hurt by the betrayal of his friends, and not really know who he can trust at this point.
So, it sounds like he'll definitely be in a bad headspace. Despite all that drama he's feeling towards them, he is going to reluctantly join them as they try to continue to uncover what exactly the truth is. Will they ever discover the real truth? Will we ever see Jughead crack a smile? Those are the burning questions for this storyline.
Calling her out
Finally, we are at our last storyline teaser for this episode. It sounds like it's going to be really good too, because it involves Cheryl, finally getting all up in her mean mother's face and calling her out about why she treats her so much worse than she ever did Jason. Will this big confrontation get Cheryl the answers she seeks from her mother?
Or will this cause another big fight? Only time will tell as it appears that we're going to have to wait to find out. However, we may catch a spoiler glimpse of it in the new preview clip that we expect CW to release after episode 11 finishes up later on tonight, so be sure to look out for that. Episode 12 was directed by Rob Seidenglanz, and Michael Grassi wrote up the script.
Betty's in it too
CW also released a couple of spoiler photos for this episode. We've included one of them (above). It gives us a new look at Veronica, Jughead and Kevin in action. Some of the other photos, show more of Veronica in action with her mother, Hermione. Betty is spotted in a few scenes with Jughead, and also one with her mother, Alice.
We also got one of Archie's mother, Mary, so look for her to show up in, at least, one of the scenes.
One final note, we can confirm that episode 12 will be airing next Tuesday night, May 4th,2017 at 8pm central time on The CW. Stay tuned.
