Hey, "The Blacklist" fans. We recently got our hands on a couple of official storyline spoiler teasers for the new episode 18 of season 4, thanks to the kind ABC promotions team. We got about two storyline scoops out of it, which sound pretty interesting as we'll be seeing the Task Force get prompted to chase down a bounty hunter that's getting paid to go after some of Red's closest associates. We're also going to see Ressler run into some sort of moral dilemma when he accepts a brand new task that involves a colleague that he's worked with in the past.

"Philomena" is what they went with

They also let us know what the producers decided to call this installment. It's titled: "PHILOMENA." So, that's a very interesting title. They started things off by letting us know that we're going to see a new, what they're calling, an artful bounty hunter on the scene. This bounty hunter has been hired by someone or an organization to target Red's closest associates. They didn't reveal if this person is a he or she, so we don't know if we'll be seeing a woman or a man, trying to pull off this new, very dangerous scheme.

Deep trouble

What we do know is that what this person is doing, will cause the Task Force to rush into action in an effort to hunt this person down, so it sounds like he or she will find themselves in some deep, deep trouble!

Will the Task Force be able to quickly hunt down and halt this bounty hunter's actions? Or will this person just be way too slick for the Task Force crew? It'll remain to be seen for now, because NBC did not answer those important questions in this vague description. It should give us some pretty intense scenes, though. No doubt.

A moral dilemma

Next, they gave us the second and last teaser scoop, which reveals that we're going to see Ressler in action at some point. He is going to be working a new assignment with one of his former colleagues (played by actor Enrique Murciano). While working this case, he is going to end up, facing something that's morally challenging for him as they tell us that he will have to deal with a moral dilemma.

I think the obvious questions with this storyline will be: "What the hell is this freaking moral dilemma? Will Ressler eventually choose to do what's morally right? Or will he slip up? If so, what will be the consequences? Again, there was no elaboration on this storyline in this description, so it looks like we'll have to tune into the episode for that.

Alright, guys. That's all the spoiler intel we received from the NBC press release, so that's going to wrap up this session. As always, we do expect to get more information when NBC drops the new preview/spoiler clip for episode 18 right after episode 17 gets finished with its airing. You'll definitely want to look out for that as it should deliver additional intel for it. Also we can officially tell you that episode 18 is , indeed, due to arrive next week, Thursday night, April 27th,2017 at 9pm central time on NBC.
